Since 1992, Miss Kristin’s Dance Studio has been the dance home of thousands of students in Avon Lake, OH and nearby communities. MKDS provides a safe, nurturing and state of the art environment for your child to learn, strive for goals, build confidence and create lifelong friendships. Our teachers are trained to work with every student’s social, emotional and creative development at every level.
MKDS classes focus on developing your student’s basic motor skills, coordination, muscular awareness and flexibility for excellent technique. Beyond the skills of dance, our classes encourage students to develop an appreciation and passion for the performing arts!

MKDS offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and more classes for students ages 3 and older. With classes happening nearly every day of the week, and a handful of classes on weekends, MKDS has something to fit every family’s schedule!
Early Childhood Dance Classes
Students build their dance foundation and discover different genres.

MKDS offers both recreational and competitive dance classes in a wide variety of genres! Recreational classes are available to students as young as three years old, and we offer beginner-friendly classes for brand new dancers ages 14 and under.

How do I get started?
We offer full price transparency for every class or team at MKDS! Visit the program page for your student and review the tuition costs. The tuition price listed is for one month of classes.

how much do your dance classes cost?
Yes, every dance room at MKDS a wall of observation windows for families. We typically close the window shades for classes to help dancers focus in the classroom, but we have observation weeks for families to watch class. Windows are open for observation the first week of every month, except for November while focusing on learning holiday show dances.

Every instructor and staff member pours their heart and soul into developing the skills, confidence and joy of your student at MKDS.

MKDS students have one optional winter holiday performance and one spring recital performance every season. Our competitive dance team competes at least 5 times every season.
