Class Descriptions

PRESCHOOL 1 An entry-level ballet class exclusively taught for the three-year-old dancer.  In this class there is a lot of song, jumping, kicking, and clapping!  This is a 45-minute class. Dress Code

PRESCHOOL 2 An entry-level ballet/tap combo class for dancers ages 4 & 5.  All the fun of the pre-school 1 class plus we have half of the class dedicated to learning even more in our tap shoes!  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

KINDER COMBO 1 A ballet/tap combo class.  Dancers must have completed Pre-School 2 Combo.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

KINDER COMBO 2 A ballet/tap combo class. Dancers must have completed Kinder Combo 1.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

ELEMENTARY COMBO 1 An entry-level ballet/tap combo class for dancers ages 6-8.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

ELEMENTARY COMBO 2 A ballet/tap combo class.  Dancers must have completed either  Kinder Combo 2 or Elementary Combo 1. This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

PRETEEN COMBO 1 An entry-level ballet/tap combo class for dancers ages 9 & up.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

PRETEEN COMBO 2 A ballet/tap combo class. Dancers must have completed Preteen Combo 1.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

KINDER JAZZ 1 An entry-level jazz class for dancers age 5 & 6.  Jazz dance is a lot of the dancing currently seen on TV and in film.  It can range from technical to “Funky.”  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

KINDER JAZZ 2 A jazz class.  Dancers must have completed Kinder Jazz 1.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

ELEMENTARY JAZZ 1 An entry-level jazz class for dancers ages 6-8.  Jazz dance is a lot of the dancing currently seen on TV and in film.  It can range from technical to “Funky.”  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

HIPPITY HOP A fun introduction to hip hop for our 4 & 5-year-old dancers. A style of dance that incorporates street dance backed up by today’s popular music.  This is a half-hour class. Dress Code

HIP HOP A style of dance that incorporates street dance backed up by today’s popular music.  This class is for dancers beginning at age 6.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

ACRO Acro is a class that involves, flexibility, strength, balancing, lumbering, and tumbling.  Dancers can join this class as early as age 3.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

ELEMENTARY JAZZ 2 A jazz class. Dancers must have completed Kinder Jazz 2 or Elementary Jazz 1.  This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

LYRICAL The style and movement in lyrical help bring the lyrics of a song to life.  It is a combination of ballet and jazz techniques.  Lyrical is very emotional and passionate.  Dancers can join this class beginning at age 7 and must be enrolled in jazz as well.   This is a one-hour class. Dress Code

CONTEMPORARY This class explores the core concepts of space, time, and energy.  Each class will integrate concepts of spatial/physical awareness and clarity in movement. Dancers can join this class beginning at age 8 and must be enrolled in ballet.   This is a one-hour class. Dress Code
